The government-backed award ceremony will celebrate a range of innovative companies which have a positive impact on day-to-day life in and around the UK.
On March 7th 2019, London's Oval Space will play host to DigitalAgenda's Impact Awards 2019.
Now in its third year, the Impact Awards will celebrate innovative projects using tech for good, enhancing peoples day to day lives or positively impacting the environment
The Impact Awards recently received official government support in the form of backing from the secretary of state for digital, culture, media and sport, Jeremy Wright.
Addressing the Doteveryone Responsible Tech event on January 31st, Wright said: “I am proud that we will be supporting this year’s DigitalAgenda Impact Awards as its official government partner. These awards, taking place in London on 7 March, will showcase the best innovations in responsible ‘tech for good’ from across UK businesses, government and non-profits.”
Digital minister Margot James will attend the award ceremony itself as a headline speaker.
Previous winners include tech Social Enterprises TalkLife, a peer to peer support network and SH:24, a free online sexual health service, providing free STI test kits, info and advice.
