Employment

London

Beam is a social enterprise that crowdfunds job training for homeless people and supports them into stable, paid work. Working in partnership with more than 35 homeless charities and local authorities, Beam is finding a route out of homelessness for some of the hardest to help people - providing them with the skills, tools and confidence to gain employment and earn a living.

Founded by serial tech CEO Alex Stephany in 2017, Beam has since gone on to support more than 200 homeless people in the UK capital, helping them to train up in careers ranging from bricklaying and accounting to beauty therapy and dental nursing.

Beam is backed by the Mayor of London, Nesta and some of the world's top tech entrepreneurs.
